             If you are looking for a warm place to spend this winter and want to improve your body and soul attention, there can be no better place than Goa, Gokarna and Hamppi, India. 

We will take you on a meaningful spiritual Yoga journey, delving into the teachings of yoga at several renowned temples.

             The tranquil nature of Yoga and the verdant spree of Goa might sound contrastingly different from each other,       but  still, a rare blend of both presents a great opportunity for an enchanting tour itinerary. 

             WAT Holistic Yoga Retreat Expedition is dedicated to self-discovery and spirituality. attunement  is one such a rare experience illustrating the best of Goa's languid culture Through the prism of Yoga. The WAT Holistic yoga retreat expedition is a powerful TRANSFORMATION for people who want to improve the body and spirit, who hope to take a break from the hustle and bustle and rest a little in a world of love and acceptance, feel the incredible spirit of freedom near ocean and under the sun and bring peace and balance to life.

Then come along with WAT and connect with yourself through the ocean, sun and yoga. It will surely inspire and reset your life.

Traveling Programs 

 

 

 

Our journey consists of two parts - the outer and the inner path. Externally, we will do yoga, meditate and visit the holy places of Goa and Gokarna. Choosing this retreat can help you find your true self. Some of the elements of our retreat are detox, hypnotherapy, EFT tapping, yoga, meditation, diet etc. It can also help people with diabetes, high blood pressure, PCOS, or those who want to manage their weight. But in this journey we will also try to connect with the soul of everyone - each from within will move towards the present in his own way.

 

 

Travel Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Goa 

We meet at the Dabolim airport (Goa) and head to the Arambol beach guest house/hotel. We get acquainted with all the participants of the tour, swim, rest from the flight. We discuss organizational issues. In the evening, having gathered at sunset (in goa sunsets are amazingly beautiful!) On the ocean shore, we create an intention for the next ten days and fix it with a common meditation.

Day 02 : Yoga in Arambol Goa ( 62.2 km km / 2 hours) 

Begin of Yoga Session in Goa

 

We will wake up to the fresh and crisp air of Goa to undergo the discipline of Yoga.and make acquaintance with yoga during an introductory lesson. We will study basic principles of yoga in terms of philosophy and adjustment of basic asanas. Practicing yoga here, overlooking the azure ocean, is the most amazing experience! It is, in fact, a prominent attraction of yoga in Goa. We can engage ourselves in meditation with the sounds of silence and the sea and relax our minds with the distant views of the seas all around. We will stay overnight at Arambol, Goa.

 

Day 03: Yoga in Arambol, Goa

Next day again we will find solace in the company of Goa and Yoga. Fresh mornings are the best time to begin the yoga routine and involve the mind, body and soul in meditation.  Then we will visit the beach shacks located alongside the beach and spend an evening in the company of Goan melodies and culinary delights. We will stay overnight at Arambol, Goa.

 

 

Day 04. Goa (Sightseeing)

After morning yoga classes and breakfast , begin a full day Goa sightseeing tour with a visit to Vagator, Anjuna and Calangute beaches and Aguada Fort. Enjoy a lunch halt at the beach. After lunch come to Panaji and visit Church of Mary Immaculate Conception and Dona Paula Bay. Board the Santa Monica Launch and cruise along the Mandovi River. This cruise forms an enchanting experience of Goan exploration, There, you can see the best local music and colorful performances come to life. Return to the guest house for dinner and the overnight stay.

 

Day 05: Departure From Goa, moving to Gokarna ( 144 Kms /3:30 hours) 

After breakfast we check-out from the hotel and transfer to the bus station for Gokarna. After arrival at Gokarna (Karnataka) we move to comfortable beach huts where we will stay overnight. Then, we rest after the bus trip, until in the evening, we gather at sunset Meditation On the ocean. 

Day 06: Yoga in Gokarna 

We will follow the same routine as Armabol, Goa. We wake up, take a breath of the fresh Gokarna air and do our yoga practice .The day will continue with an excursion through the terracotta streets of Gokarna and meditation in the volcanic cave of Shiva. In Hinduism, Shiva has the epithet Mahadev, which translates as the greatest of the gods (devas). The world itself began with his dance, and it will end with it, but as long as the king of yogis continues to dance, the world exists.

Day 07: Yoga in Gokarna 

Morning yoga class will begin with breathing practices (pranayama). We will get acquainted with various types of yogic breathing, and then, after warming up, we will perform the Surya Namaskar complex with variations in the impact on all major joints and muscle groups. 

In the afternoon we will go on an excursion to the temple of Rama and to the sacred spring.

In the evening we will have our first massage course. Consider the topic - "Types of massage. Basic knowledge of the anatomy of the body."

And at sunset - meditation on the ocean shore.

Day 08: Departure From Gokarna —Murdeshwar ( 78 Kms - 2 hours) 

After morning yoga, we will go on an excursion to the neighboring city of Murdeshwar. where we will visit the temple complex, the Gopura tower and the huge, second-highest statue of Shiva in the world.

According to one of the legends, Murdeshwar is considered a sacred place among the Hindus, because it was here, according to legend, that God Shiva, revered by the Hindus, was born.

Returning to the hotel, at sunset, we will practice calming breathing exercises (pranayama) .
They will help you relax and set you up for a good restful sleep.

Day 09: Yoga in Gokarna — Hampi ( 324 Kms - 7:35 hrs ) 

We will start the new day with breathing practices, warm-ups, "Salutations to the Sun".

Then we will visit the Ganesh Temple (Mahaganapati) and the Mahabaleshwar Temple, the most ancient temple of Gokarna, where pilgrims come not only from all over India, but also from neighboring countries.

We will walk to the sacred lake Koti-Tirtha, which, according to legend, is connected with the Ganges, the most significant river in India. It is believed that the heart of Shiva is kept here, and the waters of the lake wash all the sins away. The name "Koti Tirtha" is translated from Sanskrit as "a reservoir of a thousand holy springs."

After making our way through the noisy shopping streets of the city for lunch, we will go to the ashram at the temple for prasadam (“divine gift” - delicious food accepted by the Absolute).

After the walk we will rest on the sea. , and then - visit Kudle Beach and Om Beach. This is a beach in the form of ॐ - a sign denoting the sacred sound of Om, from which, according to Hinduism, the entire Universe appeared. Upon returning to the hotel - continuation of the master class on general massage: "Basic techniques of classical massage (stroking, rubbing, kneading and vibration)".

Evening yoga this time is the theory and practice of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), in which the consciousness plunges into a state similar to falling asleep, but due to fixing attention on the leader's voice and his instructions, complete physical sleep does not occur. 

Overnight bus to Hampi overnight stay in the bus .

Day 10: Hampi 

We will reach Hamppi early in the morning and have breakfast there. We will relax for some time after a long journey on the bus. Freshen up and have lunch as we start our acquaintance with Hamppi - the city of ancient temples. Amazingly beautiful architectural monuments, lost in banana groves, indescribable sunrises and sunsets over the ruins of an ancient empire, an unusual landscape created by nature and man, will not leave you indifferent and will take you back hundreds of years. Being in Hamppi, one cannot believe that the 21st century is outside the window. And the fact that this is planet Earth is also hard to believe. Enjoy the sunset from the other side of Hamppi, then have a dinner and stay here overnight

 

Day 11: Yoga in Hamppi - Gokarna ( 324 Kms - 7:35 hrs ) 

Today we wake up early to watch sunrise from Matanga hills (optional)

Then we have breakfast and head towards the Ganesha temple, Lotus Temple and other ruins that we can explore all the ruins and to get to know the magical history of Hamppi. You will be taking your dream pictures today

Have a lunch at the beautiful paradise cafe and head for a magical sunset to Vitthala temple

After the sunset we head towards Gokarna and have our dinner on the way.

Day 12: Yoga in Gokarna — Mumbai ( 689 Kms - 12:35 hours) 

Early morning around 3.00 am we reach Gokarna and check into a guesthouse to relax and have a tight sleep till 9.00 am

After the breakfast we head towards the starting point of the Beach Trek

We enjoy the beach trek from Paradise beach to Om Beach and have a magical lunch at the Om beach. Then we chill around as a magical sunset meditation and depart to Mumbai afterwards.

Overnight bus Gokarna to Mumbai 


 

Day 13: Mumbai the City of dreams 

Upon arrival at Mumbai, we will take a rest. After breakfast at the hotel we will visit the Gateway of India, the Prince of Wales Museum. We will drive past the University of Bombay, High Court of Bombay, visit the Crawford Market, and walk in the streets of Colaba and Mangaldas Market. We will also go to the Hanging Gardens, which are located on the crest of Malabar Hill, followed by visiting the renowned Gandhi Memorial Museum ( Mani Bhawan ) and Jain Temple. Then proceed to Siddhivinayak Temple (Ganesh Temple) and have a view of the temple from outside.Then we take the Bandra Worli Sea Link. In the evening, we come back to the hotel to stay overnight at Mumbai.

Day 14 Mumbai (Elephanta Caves)

Breakfast at the hotel, leave for Elephanta caves. These caves are located on the island, located in an arm of the Arabian Sea. Elephanta caves consist of two groups of caves—the first is a large group of five Hindu caves, the second, a smaller group of two Buddhist caves. The Hindu caves contain rock cut stone sculptures, representing the Shaiva Hindu sect, dedicated to the Lord Shiva. 

After the excursion we will come back to the hotel, have some rest, enjoy local shopping and stay at the hotel overnight.

Day : Mumbai ( Bollywood Tour) (Optional )

Breakfast at the hotel. Then proceed for the Bollywood Tour at Flim City. Drop back to the hotel. Night spent in Mumbai.

Night Train : Mumbai — Delhi ( 1380 Km / 16 hours) overnight stay in the Train.

 

Day 15: Departure

Transfer to the airport and flight home

 End of trip

Note:   Bollywood Tour is optional, if anyone wants to join this trek, we can continue our journey.

Daily Activities 

1. We, Will, start the day with meditation and yoga, Satsang: collective meditation, singing mantras, and creative practices. Then the morning practice of yoga - pranayama, Surya Namaskar, asanas, relaxation in the open air.

 

 2. Active tracking (accessible to everyone) along the picturesque trails with views of the majestic mountains. 

 3. We will be doing deep therapies, healings, and meditation.

Our Past Trips In The Indian And Nepal Himalayas

 

In February 2019, the team and we went up to a height of 3200 meters. We passed the popular Himalayan track - Poon Hill. And although it was very cloudy at dawn at the highest point, during the descent we already saw the whole amazing panorama of mountain ranges! In the end, it was incredibly difficult to say goodbye to the mountains and return to the city.

Accommodation and Meals

According to the current situation of the world during the trip, we will live mainly on Camping in the mountains. There will be 2 nights in Manali,  2 nights in the bus, 7 nights on the route in the tent /guesthouses and equipped camping, and 1 night in Delhi. You do not need to take tents and sleeping bags with you. Meals will be in checked places along the route.  Rahul will also be happy to prepare for us traditional dishes of local cuisine and tell about the properties of oriental spices.

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

1. If you are visiting India, Nepal and the highlands for the first time, first consult your doctor to check for any medical conditions that may be a contraindication to climbing. Usually, if you are generally healthy, travelers like only long walks and hikes in the mountains, but it is better to play it safe, as people with high blood pressure, vegetative-vascular dystonia, respiratory and cardiac diseases may encounter some problems. in height, and it is better to know about them in advance.

2. WAT  travel programs don't always run exactly on schedule. There are unplanned long days or early nights due to weather conditions or other reasons beyond the control of the organizers.

 

3. There are places on this route with limited communications and/or medical assistance. If this is a concern for you, you must take out extended insurance before you leave.

 

4. Competitors must be prepared for low temperatures with snow and strong cold winds.

 

5. Any additional costs that may arise due to delays due to adverse weather conditions, medical evacuation, etc., are the responsibility of the participants. Any delay due to bad weather, blocked or closed roads, etc., beyond the control of the organizers, will be paid according to the cost of the tour for the scheduled days.
