Trek Itinerary Map
"Little Tibet" is one of the untouched corners of the Himalayas in the far north of India. At the source of the Indus, on the Tibetan plateau (about 4000 m), surrounded by the snowy peaks of the Himalayan ranges, there is a land that is unique in terms of the beauty of nature and ancient customs. These lands are heavily influenced by Buddhism and are home to numerous monasteries. According to many legends, the paths of knowledge of Buddha and Jesus Christ passed here, the Aryans carried Sanskrit through the ridges of Central Asia to India, and caravans with priceless goods made their way from Kashmir to the east to China.
These places are often referred to as Shambhala or the "Land of High Ways". Paths that open and touch the hearts with their virginal simplicity and the harsh beauty of nature. Time passes slowly in the mountains. And there is an opportunity to stop your run, listen to the true voice of your soul and feel greater inner harmony. We will unpack internal forces, codes of life, riddles. And we will answer who we are and what is our mission on this planet in the age of Kali Yuga!
The WAT HOSTEL team invites you on a trekking and spiritual journey through the mountains of the Spiti and Sangla valleys. Together with WAT HOSTEL we will explore rare non-tourist and energetically strong places of Little Tibet. On our route, we will explore the ebullient multifaceted Delhi, the mountainous and cozy Manali, the ancient city of Kaza and many places of power - Buddhist temples. Half of the trip will take place in the format of hiking, where we will get in touch with the culture and nature of the mountainous region of India even more. And on the way, the presenters will share knowledge in the field of Vedic traditions, cooking, Ayurveda. Together we will practice yoga and immerse ourselves in meditation in strong prayer places.

Our Past Trips In The Indian And Nepal Himalayas
In February 2019, the team and we went up to a height of 3200 meters. We passed the popular Himalayan track - Poon Hill. And although it was very cloudy at dawn at the highest point, during the descent we already saw the whole amazing panorama of mountain ranges! In the end, it was incredibly difficult to say goodbye to the mountains and return to the city.
Accommodation and Meals
According to the current situation of the world during the trip, we will live mainly on Camping in the mountains. There will stay in hotels in Kathmandu for 2 nights and in Pokhara for 2 nights with breakfast included. For the remaining 6 nights, we will stay in guest houses and campgrounds near the villages along the route. Wherever there is a camping, there will also be an opportunity to stay in a guest house in more comfortable conditions. Meals will be provided at the checked places along the route. And also the guide Raul will be happy to prepare traditional local dishes for us and tell us about the properties of oriental spices.
